A bit more about me and my credentials...
I graduated in 2010 from the University of Hertfordshire with a BA Honours in Film and Television production. In the past two years or so I have written and directed a string of short films, where I collaborated closely with a crew of friends and colleagues to achieve my visions. Below is a complete list of fiction films I have written and directed:
Anhedonia (3 mins, 2008)
A drama about a nervous man who walks to post a letter.
The Bet (5 mins, 2008)
A drama about an OCD sufferer, who's brother proposes a challenging bet.
Dr. Jones and the Blobel (5 mins, 2009)
A sci-fi about a disturbed war veteran who visits a robotic psychoanalyst. Adapted from the short story 'Oh, To Be A Blobel' by Phillip K Dick.
Mindset (7 mins, 2009)
A comedy about a young man who suffers from cognitive-swap syndrome, a condition that gets him into some awkward but often hilarious situations.
Torpor (16 mins, 2010)
A dark, teenage drama about a young man who wakes up from a coma to a slightly different life. He suffers from vivid nightmares and finds himself being unexplainably drawn to the mysterious sand dunes on the outskirts of his suburban town.
Highlights of these films are included in my showreel. A few can also be watched on youtube.com, facebook and bulletfilm.com. Aswell as these projects, I have also developed my skills in observation and documentary filming, as I directed short documentaries and acted as camera operator for various live shows and promotional films. For me, being involved in the process of making any film is an exciting, creative embarkment that inspires me, gives me drive and is unquestionably enjoyable.
